Partners

SC Logistics’ public-private partnership is made up of private-sector business leaders, state agencies and education institutions. Our work is made possible by a generous grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) and support from the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness and the South Carolina Department of Commerce.

In addition to public-sector funding, private-sector business and education institutions also provide funding to support the initiative’s work.

Partner Benefits

  • Visibility on the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness website, the SC Logistics Industry website, social media channels and relevant marketing materials with recognition as a partner of the SC Logistics Industry Initiative.
  • Distinctive visibility on the SC Logistics Industry website Logistics Provider Directory as a Supporting Partner.
  • Complimentary participation (for up to two representatives from your organization) for each SC Logistics quarterly logistics community event which provide excellent networking opportunities between logistics providers and logistics users.
  • Annual exclusive “closed room” thought-leadership workshop to discuss relevant state-level logistics-related issues of interest with SC Logistics state agency partners leadership.
  • We are pleased to offer – at no cost to SC Logistics partners – a valuable new benefit designed to improve access to workforce talent so as to improve our partners’ competitive positions. Tallo (formerly STEM Premier) is a digital platform and app that assists students in designing a career pathway, employers in developing a stable, continuous talent pipeline, and educators in recruiting top talent to their schools. Students (age 13+) create a free digital profile to showcase their skills and abilities, receive personalized career guidance, match with over $20 billion in scholarships, and connect with colleges and companies looking for the next generation of talent.

SC Logistics partners will receive two free Tallo Assist campaigns. For each campaign, Tallo will work with your Talent Acquisitions or Marketing team to craft a message, micro-target the right audience, and send it out to the appropriate talent demographic. Nothing is sent without your approval. You’ll then receive a report summarizing the campaigns’ success, as well as the contact information of the individuals who expressed interest in your opportunity, within 1-2 weeks.

There are over 750,000 Tallo users nationwide, and more than 95,000 in South Carolina. Tallo proudly powers SC Future Makers, a unique public-private partnership that engages South Carolina’s students and manufacturing community to close the STEM skills gap and retain talent for future economic development and regional prosperity.
